christmas jumpers

Whether you’re into novelty knits or chic Fair Isle sweaters, Christmas jumpers are a bit of a must for the festive season. So why not get ahead of the game and start shopping for yours now? I’ve rounded up the best designer and high street buys below. But firstly…

What day is Christmas Jumper Day 2021?

Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is back on Friday 10th December 2021. You can sign up now for a fundraiser kit, or simply wear a jumper, donate to the cause and spread the word on social media. The more involved, the better.

Novelty Christmas jumpers

There are plenty of chic understated options out there for the minimalists at heart (keep scrolling to shop them). That said, if you really want to get into the spirit of things, then novelty Christmas jumpers are the way to go.

I’ve found plenty of sweaters embellished with tinsel, sausage dogs, penguins and festive slogans.

If you still want to tone things down a notch, simply wear yours with straight leg jeans or velvet trousers for a simple party look, which can be dressed up or down with heels or trainers.

Christmas jumpers Primark

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, no one does festive jumpers quite like Primark. My top tip is to shop in the men’s section, as I find the quality is slightly better and I like the oversized look. Plus they don’t sell out as fast.

This season Primark has brought out matching jumpers for the whole family, with prices starting from just £5. There are plenty of different themes available too, from polar bears to penguins and Marvel to slogan knits.

Scroll down to shop my edit of the best festive jumpers on the high street, from Disney Christmas jumpers to Fair Isle knits, festive printed tops to slogan sweatshirts and everything in between.
