Are you an avid Alice in Wonderland fan and Urban Decay junkie? If so, prepare to have your minds and wallets blown.
The Alice in Wonderland Makeup Collection is Pure Magic
The latest Urban Decay partnership with Disney is all about the upcoming sequel to Alice in Wonderland: Alice Through the Looking Glass. The limited-edition collection features 5 fantastical shades of metallic lipstick and 20 new eyeshadow colors.
We all know that whenever Urban Decay releases a new palette, it promises to be better than their last one. This makeup company just gets better and better, doesn’t it? This isn’t the first time UD has collaborated with Disney. Back in 2010, the creative duo released their Alice in Wonderland: Book of Shadows palette which, unfortunately, can no longer be found. Unless you’re into buying makeup from eBay, then by all means, go nuts!
As for the new Disney-themed product that has us going mad for makeup (get it?), this palette comes in an astonishing package that has intricate drawings of brightly-colored flowers and a vintage, gold-framed mirror with the movie title in it.
Even Alice herself has approved of the palette! Let’s see this beauty for ourselves, shall we?

Once you open the palette, you’ll see drawings of leaking clocks (of course) and a vintage-styled mirror with a quote from the movie, “We’re all mad here.” You’ll also see psychedelic flowers and other quotes from the movie embossed in golden script.
But wait, there’s more! When you open the center lid, a three-dimensional butterfly surprises you!
And no, that’s not all. As I was saying, this palette comes with 20 new, limited-edition shades of eyeshadow. Each column represents the 5 main characters of the movie.
From L to R: Alice (The Looking Glass, Reflection, Dormouse, Metamorphosis); Mad Hatter (Hatter, Gone Mad, Paradox, Cake); Mirana (Lily, Duchess, Kingdom, Chessboard); Iracebeth (Heads Will Roll, Bandersnatch, Salazen Grum, Royal Flush); and, Time (Time, Dream On, Chronosphere, Mirror).
Whew, that’s a lot of shades to play with. Especially once you factor in UD’s dual-ended brush; we’ll be playing with our makeup for days on end. (But we kinda, sorta, really already do that.)
Seriously though, this palette is the gift that does not stop giving because there’s even more: metallic lipstick! These 5 shades were named after the 5 main characters (just like their palette).
From L to R: Iracebeth (bold red, obviously); Time (edgy gunmetal blue); Mad Hatter (vibrant purple); Alice (sheer nude with a pink shift); and, Mirana (deep creamy berry). The lipstick case comes in a psychedelic kaleidoscopic pattern that was, of course, inspired by the madness of the film. Regardless of the finish (sheer, shimmery or matte), these lipsticks will provide a rich color payout.
This palette is the perfect trippy tribute for Disney fans and Urban Decay junkies alike.
Buy the palette from Urban Decay or Sephora.
