The recently concluded MTV Video Music Awards drew some of the biggest and the brightest names in Music. I had to chance upon everyone and – you know, their makeup.
Every year, MTV celebrates the achievements of the music industry with the MTV Video Music Awards. Giving out recognition to the brightest talent, producer, director, etc of the music scene. This year, stars came out and flaunted their best Music Video Awards look on the white carpet and I have definitely scooped out the most beautiful stars to rock the show.

In my honest opinion, there were some people whom I thought should change wardrobe, but makeup wise, they all seemed on point. I’d like to congratulate everyone’s glam team for keeping your game strong and for showing everyone what a good makeup artist can bring to the table.
Here are the ones that topped my list:
Beyonce and Blue Ivy
The mother and daughter duo walked the white carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards together both dressed in ethereal goodness. Queen B’s makeup is on point as usual. Now that I’ve established the how friggin’ amazing these mother and daughter’s gowns are, let’s all take a moment to drool a little more and talk about Blue Ivy’s expensive gown. The outfit Jay-Z and Beyonce’s four-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, wore at the event was designed by Mischka Aoki from the brand’s spring/summer 2015 collection. The gown is called The Grand Royalle. Apparently, the made-to-measure gown is priced at $10,950.
Rihanna
Rihanna did not only steal the show with four performances and four fashion changes, she’s also a recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard award.
Kim Kardashian West
Kim Kardashian looking as hot as ever in her signature smokey eye and nude lips makeup look. Kim K’s necklace is hard to miss too! While hers will probably cost you an arm and leg, check out this fancy necklace I found at Mason and Ivy.
Nikki Minaj
Nikki Minaj looked beautiful in her royal blue dress and fierce winged liner. Her dress is so pretty and it makes me wonder if I can ever pull off a dress like this.
Britney Spears
Britney Spears delighted the MTV Video Music Awards looking toned and sexy in this little black dress and glowy makeup look.
Ariana Grande

Beautifully tanned with her makeup on point. I really like her false lashes it compliments her almond eyes a lot.
Alicia Keys
I have to give props to Alicia Keys for bringing her no makeup game up a notch. I know we are all about makeup here, but I know we also embrace our no makeup selves just like this beautiful woman.
Hailey Baldwin
Hailey Baldwin came in attendance wearing a bronzey smokey eye look to pair with her equally smoking ensemble. Recreate Hailey Baldwin’s stunning eye makeup with this nude palette.
Justine Skye
I love Justine Skye’s look. It’s colorful, it’s bright but it’s not overbearing. Her pink heels match her fringe dress beautifully and her makeup look – with her nude lip and clean face is divine! This is a perfect example of balance.
Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld for me was one of the best dressed during the Video Music Award, keeping it low key on her makeup kept the focus on her exquisite outfit.
Naomi Campbell
If there’s one thing I can say about the beautiful Naomi Campbell and her regal walk down the white carpet, it’s this: Pat McGrath Lips. Yes! Beautiful, shiny, shimmery. The supermodel is wearing Pat McGrath’s Vermillion Venom and Blood Wine Kits in this look.
Heidi Klum
Ms. Klum knows how to bring it on every carpet walk she’s had. The muted tones she’s wearing complimented her sleek hairstyle and darkly lined eyes.

Joan Smalls
Her tan leather top and wide legged pants gave her look a more laid-back vibe; her makeup gives me a fierce vibe however. Her smokey tan eyeRs and nude lip brought her look from laid back to sexy. I really like her monochromatic makeup it’s so sophisticated.
This version below of the monochromatic makeup is also stunning. It’s chic and sexy, I love it!
Stella Maxwell
Let’s talk about Stella, doesn’t she look like a piece of art? While her outfit here is not my preference, admit it the hints of red shadow on her eye brought the whole look together.
Holland Roden
Holland Roden definitely focused on her makeup look during the MTV Video Music Awards, her red lip and lined blue eyes contrasted very well against her all-white ensemble.
You have to see Holland Roden’s makeup! The black winged eyeliner and the shimmery bronze undereye liner made her eye color pop. I love how her makeup is so subtle yet it radiates ooomph.

Jo Jo
Jojo kept the intricacy of her lace attire with a smokey eye look. If you ask me, I’m not really digging her outfit here, good thing, though, her makeup complemented her look.
Aly Raisman
Aly Raisman took the MTV Video Music Awards and looked girly and feminine in her body hugging mini dress and dewy makeup look. The 6-time Olympic medalist is not only a fantastic gymnast she’s also fashion savvy.
Simone Biles
I have another Olympian on my list. Nude pink lips worked really well on Simone Biles’ beaded Sherri Hill dress. I just thought she could have played more with her eyeshadow.
Tinashe
Tinashe’s full lash and smokey eyes kept her looking sexy and sultry all throughout the affair. Did you know Tinashe and Blake Lively both wore the same jumpsuit but in different events? Yup, Lively wore the same red jumpsuit while pregnant at the 69th Cannes Film Festival last May.
Cassie
Cassie looked sexy and fierce during the MTV Video music awards, her lips were the perfect nude, but I’m not the biggest fan of her bright neon hair color.

It’s always fun seeing these beautiful ladies show off their gorgeous makeups and outfits. While we’re mere ordinary people watching them on TV, it’s not impossible to become a celebrity too, check out these YouTube celebrities who made their way to the top.
