DIY Foundation With High Coverage, Moisturizer, and SPF

Some say that there’s no price for beauty. But in the makeup world, you pay a good price for the best foundation. Of course, not everyone has the budget to buy high-end foundation like others. However, that doesn’t mean that girls who are on a budget will resort to using low-quality foundies instead. If you love makeup but do not really like to splurge, I got the next best thing for you–DIY foundation! Make your own with natural ingredients packed with numerous health benefits. This DIY liquid foundation won’t just make you look prettier, it’s great for your skin too!

What You’ll Need:

Step 1: Put the Zinc Oxide powder into the mixing bowl.

Start by mixing all the dry ingredients first. Put 2 tsp. of Zinc Oxide powder into the mixing bowl.

Step 2: Add the Bentonite clay.

Put 1/2 tsp. of Bentonite clay into the mix. Just so you know, Bentonite clay can shrink pores, prevent breakouts, and remove toxins.

Step 3: Add the Cacao powder.

In this DIY foundation tutorial, the Cacao powder is your colorant, which means that this is what you’ll use to get the right shade for your skin. It’s best to start with 1 tbsp. of Cacao powder first and just add more if you need to darken the color.

Step 4: Mix the dry ingredients together.

Now that all the dry ingredients are in the bowl, it’s time to mix them together.

Step 5: Add the moisturizer.

One of the great things about this DIY foundation is that you can use the moisturizer you love. So if you have oily skin or sensitive skin, you can use your go-to moisturizer on your foundation. That will keep the breakouts at bay.

Step 6: Mix everything thoroughly.

Now mix everything thoroughly until you get a smooth texture. Add more Cacao as needed.

We are done ladies! Now you have your own organic DIY liquid foundation. For best application, use a sponge for this one.
