If I am to choose between foundation and concealer, I will choose concealer any day. The late night hours have taken its toll on my eyes and I have no choice but to turn to my concealer. It is important that you know how to apply it, which type or shade of concealer to use, and the other concealer tricks that will guarantee a flawless finish. 1. Choose your shade.

Just like foundation, it is a definite must to choose the right shade of foundation for your face. Makeup experts suggest that for concealer, it must be one to two shades lighter than your skin tone. 2. Get the right color.
