Drew Barrymore shared details about her coordinated attire with costars and friends Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz at the 2003 “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” premiere during Friday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.” Among the details Barrymore shared, the actress revealed why Diaz opted to go barefoot on the red carpet.

“That premiere was so much fun,” Barrymore said on her eponymous talk show, reminiscing about the premiere of the sequel to the 2000 movie. “We got to drive up in an old, like, El Camino car and Hollywood Boulevard was closed down,” Barrymore recalled.

Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu attend the premiere of “Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle” on June 18, 2003, in Hollywood.

The three women wore coordinated white looks for the red carpet premiere, with Liu in a floor-length, sleeveless dress with a plunging neckline and short train, Barrymore in a white suit and black bikini top and Diaz styling a strapless white minidress, sans shoes.

“Cameron didn’t like her shoes, they weren’t like fitting her right,” Barrymore explained on Friday’s episode of her talk show. “She just took them off and went barefoot.”
