Makeup Tutorial: How To Pull Off A Peach Monochromatic Makeup Look

Peach Monochromatic Makeup You’ll Want to Wear All Summer

What You’ll Need:

  • Face primer
  • Eyeshadow base
  • White eyeshadow (to prime)
  • Peach eyeshadow (transition shade)
  • Deeper, vibrant peach eyeshadow (a touch of orange all over the lids)
  • Darker peach shade with a touch of brown (to define the lash line)
  • Bronzer
  • Contour powder
  • Peach blush
  • Crease brush
  • Eyeliner brush

Step 1: Prep Your Skin for Flawless Monochromatic Makeup

A great primer will keep your makeup looking fresh all day and will increase your foundation’s wear time. If you have acne scars or blemishes, a primer with a mint green tint will cover that up for you, a must for a monochromatic effect. Whether or you opt for an illuminating primer or a mattifying one depends on today’s mood.

Step 2: Apply an Eyeshadow Base

The eyes are crucial to the monochromatic look, so make sure to prep your lids especially if they’re oily or if you have hooded eyes. Apply all over the lid and up towards the brow bone, set with a sheer white eyeshadow to create a blank canvas.

If you haven’t found your holy grail eye primer yet, you can use your favorite concealer and set with a touch of transparent setting powder.

Step 3: Sweep Your Transition Peach Shadow on Your Crease

Sweep your first peach shade along your creases, going above a bit to cover the sheer white shade you applied earlier. If you’re not sure where the crease is, imagine that you’re painting above the eyeball. You should be able to feel it as you’re sweeping back and forth.

Step 4: Apply Your Deeper Peach Shade Over Your Lids

Apply your deeper peach shade all over your lids, this shade will be the hero of your monochromatic makeup look. Start on your crease, moving above your crease before bringing it down to your lash line.

Step 5: Tap on Your Deepest Peach Shade to Your Lash Line for Monochromatic Makeup

Avoid looking flat by defining your lash line with your darkest peach shade. The touch of tan or brown will define your eyes, while staying in theme with the monochromatic makeup look. The shade should look as natural as possible, so tan or fudge shades will work great, while coffee shades will leave you with a smoky eye.

Step 6: Put on Your Foundation and Concealer

Step 7: Set, Bronze, and Contour

Set your foundation and concealer with a setting powder or a powder foundation. Go easy on the bronzer and contour because this peach monochromatic makeup look is all about looking soft, so we don’t want harsh lines anywhere. Peach is already a warm tone, so going heavy-handed might make you look sunburnt!

Finish off your eyes with mascara, or cap off with wispy falsies! To bolden your monochromatic makeup, apply some false lashes on your lower lash line as well!

Step 11: Paint on a Peach Lippie for Monochromatic Makeup
