Here’s a Very Easy Rhinestones Makeup Tutorial Just for You!
What You Will Need:
- Foundation primer
- Tinted moisturizer
- Concealer
- Contour stick
- Setting powder
- Brow mascara
- Lash mascara
- Rhinestones
- Lash glue
- Clear gloss
- Setting spray
Step 1: Prime Your Face for Eye Makeup Rhinestones
This tutorial will teach you proper face rhinestones makeup application, so naturally, we’d have to prime your whole face first.
Here are the steps in detail:
- Apply your foundation primer by placing it as small dots on your face
- With your clean hands gently spread the primer all over
- Don’t use a lot of the primer because your makeup might cake on top
- This is also a great way to save on your primer because you’re only using how much you really need
Step 2: Apply Your Tinted Moisturizer for Rhinestone Face Makeup
The next step is essentially the same application except you’re using your tinted moisturizer. For this rhinestones makeup tutorial, we are not using foundation so we can keep it light and luminous, perfect for a rhinestone look.
Here are the steps in detail:
- Just like how you applied the foundation primer, place dots of your tinted moisturizer on your face
- Using a makeup sponge, spread the tinted moisturizer all over your face using a dabbing motion
- A makeup sponge helps with blending the moisturizer seamlessly while avoiding tugging on your skin too much
- Make sure that you’re using the right shade of tinted moisturizer for you!
Step 3: Concealer for Rhinestone Face Makeup
Apply your concealer to areas that need coverage and highlight, and blend using a makeup sponge.
Here are the steps in detail:
- Draw short lines on your face using your concealer stick or wand
- For the lines, draw fan shapes under your eyes, between your brows, and on your chin
- Place dots on other face spots that need coverage
- Blend the concealer using a wet makeup sponge
- Blend using a dabbing motion so as not to tug on the skin
Step 4: Contour Stick for Makeup With Rhinestones
Now that your face is looking flawless with your concealer application, it’s time to contour it slightly using your contour stick! Use a shade darker than your skin tone to achieve shadows and dimension on your face, perfect for your makeup rhinestones look.
Here are the steps in detail:
- Using your contour stick, draw lines on the low points and sides of your face
- This includes the area under your cheekbones, jawline, and the outer area on your forehead
- You may also contour your nose line at this point
- Using your wet makeup sponge again, blend your contour with the rest of your base makeup
- Then, set your face makeup using your setting powder and a thick brush

Step 5: Time for the Eyes!
The next part of our easy rhinestones makeup tutorial is applying mascara! Use your brow mascara and carefully brush up your brows, then use your eye mascara to define your eyes.
Here are the steps in detail:
- Grab your brow mascara and brush up your brows to create a bushy effect
- Be careful not to add too much of the product near the side of the nose bridge because you want to keep that brow area light and wispy
- If you wish to put a bit of eyeshadow under the rhinestones, now is the time to place them
- Then, get your eye mascara and apply carefully on your upper and lower lashes
- For any eye mascara fallouts or mistakes, use a cotton swab with some makeup remover
- You may also curl your lashes before applying your eye mascara to make your lashes fan out more

- Place one rhinestone on top of the lash glue using a rhinestone applicator or a tweezer
- Press down using your fingers and let go when you feel that the rhinestone is well in place
- Repeat the steps with each rhinestone placement
- For this tutorial, we are putting the rhinestones around the eyes, close to the upper and bottom lashes
- Let all the rhinestones dry in place completely
